NSWICC Panel discussion

Sub Heading

The NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) is the peak body and leading advocate for Indigenous businesses in New South Wales. Through its innovative partnership program and service delivery model, the NSWICC works with industry proponents like Hydrostor to break down barriers and create meaningful opportunities in local employment, procurement, service provision, and community capacity building.

Each year, the NSWICC hosts its flagship Summit—an important forum for networking, trade, shared learning, and showcasing leadership through real-world success stories in Indigenous business.

At the 2024 NSWICC Summit, Kath Hawkins, Hydrostor’s Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Permitting, took part in a panel discussion with other infrastructure proponents and government representatives.

The conversation highlighted Hydrostor’s commitment to Indigenous engagement and the growing partnership with the NSWICC—demonstrating how collaborative approaches can broaden opportunities for Indigenous businesses across the state.
